Picnic, Club Business and Election of Officers for Next Year

Beer, wine, burgers (vegi and meat), dogs, buns, soft drinks, and paper products are provided by TCTC. Bring a side dish or dessert to share. Guests, friendly dogs and well behaved children are welcome.

Enter the park at the main entrance off Highway 158.  Tell the guard you are with the TCTC picnic as TCTC pays your gate fee.  Follow the main road and look for signs for Shelter #4.

How To Reach Tanglewood

From Winston-Salem take I-40 West to Exit 182. Take left on Harper Road; at light, take right onto Hwy. 158. Tanglewood Park is 1/10 of a mile on the left. Note: There are signs for Tanglewood Park posted after exiting the interstate.

Notice: In the past, the picnic has sometimes had to be postponed due to the weather, and this has caused a problem for the Club due to the business meeting that occurs during the picnic. Therefore, if the picnic needs to be postponed, the annual business meeting will take place on the same day at 5:00 pm in the lobby of the William White YMCA at 775 West End Blvd. In this case, the picnic will be rescheduled for a later date, but the business meeting and picnic will be separate events. If the picnic gets postponed, and you want to be involved in the business meeting, you must attend at the YMCA lobby.
