Heart Healthy Hornets 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run

RACE INFORMATION 

The Heart Healthy Hornets 5k (3.1 miles) and 1 mile fun run will begin and end at Yadkinville Elementary School. The 5k will begin and end on Hemlock Ave. The 5k is a relatively flat course through the heart of the Downtown area.

The 1 mile fun run will  be on the Elementary School grounds. 

PACKET PICKUP

Packet Pickup will be Friday June 5, 2009  from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Yadkinville  Elementary School. You may also pick up your race packets from 7:00 - 7:45 a.m. race day at Yadkinville Elementary School.

RACE SCHEDULE

1 mile fun run will begin at 8:00 a.m.
5k at 8:30 a.m.
Awards Ceremony to begin at 9:30 a.m. Awards given for Overall, Masters & Age  groups. No Duplicates.

FEES

5K Early Register by May 17, 2009  $15.00
Pre-Register by June 1st, 2009 $20.00
Register Race Day (Ends - 8:00 am) $20.00
Students  $10.00

Mail-in Registration ends June 1st. All fees include a T-shirt & goodie bag T-Shirts guaranteed to those who early register.

1 mile fun run (12 & under) $  5.00  

Fun Run participants will receive a medal.

REGISTRATION

Pre-Registrations must be received by June 1st, 2009. Entry fees are non-refundable. Unclaimed packets will not be mailed to entrants.

Homeroom Teacher contest deadline May 22nd.
